Kumble, Kumble burning bright!

Anil Kumble, with more than 560 test wickets to his credit, added another feather in his cap when he wielded his willow to play a deft knock of 110* against England on the second day of the third test at Oval. His tremendous innings helped India pile a massive total of 664 runs.

What makes his maiden feat so special is that it has come at a time when Kumble has already bid farewell to the shorter version of the game. Few doubted Kumble's strength as a cricketer and his Oval effort underlines this.

Kumble's feat will be sweetened if India wins the test. Let's see how the game unfolds. Nevertheless, well done Kumble!
