Shamu - A great sport!

Seaworld, San Diego, is the place to be. Sea animals dancing to the tune of their master in more or less human-like ways - using their fins and flexible limbs dexterously. I went to the Seaworld after doing some research over the Internet and came to know that Shamu show termed "Believe!" is the best. I liked dolphin and walrus shows equally but Shamu's show used technology to it's maximum advantage.

I made myself comfortable at the non-splash zone for the fear of getting drenched. The introduction of the show was marvellous. In huge LCD screens, it was shown that how a kid, because he believed in himself, was able to train the killer whale. Then all four whales along with their trainers were introduced by the master trainer.

The show was enormous and no word can describe the awe I was in when I saw the killer whale behaving like a tamed pet. Each and every moment of the show was captured by cameras hoisted at different positions and was projected on LCD. Awesome!!!

The most comic part of the show was when Shamu splashed water all
over the stadium and people sitting in the splash zone were drenched from head to toe. Shamu's coat gleamed in the Sun and added to the beauty of the killer whale.

The show was wonderful. Equally good were the dolphin and walrus shows. The park is well maintained and has good food outlets.

I wish I could go to San Diegoo and watch these three shows again. But unfortunately, my two day pass has expired!
